SSC JE MAINS TIPS

STRATEGY TO CRACK SSC JE MAINS:

1. STUDY MATERIAL :-

When you go to prepare for SSC exam then proper selection of books becomes very important. Correct selection of SSC JE questions is very important if you do not choose the right questions then selection is easily not possible. Best Book for SSC JE Mains practice will be IES MATER SSC JE PREVIOUS YEAR . When you cover all questions from this book twice and thrice times then go to ESE MAINS PYQ QUESTIONS For practice. Must Bring any two test series for Practice, you can go to SSC JE TeamMCQ MAINS TEST series For mains practice. When you attempt PYQ / Test series then Mark the important questions which are being asked repetitively. Do not consult too many books as you will feel less confident after covering little from each book. Try be be skipped low weightage topics if you have less time.

TIPS FOR THEORY SUBJECTS: In SSC JE if we are watching since last few years weightage as mentioned below Building materials, Highway, irrigation contain good marks. Never skipped theory questions when you attempt Test series or in practice. Try to be added to attached image in theory questions to be score good marks. Don’t used pencil in SSC JE exam it may take your more time, our suggestion draw neat and clean sketch with pen.

TIPS FOR NUMERICAL SUBJECTS: The Most important subjects and covering high weightage is RCC, SOIL, ENVIOURMENT , etc… RCC, Steel and some parts of environmental engineering, its very essential to prepare a separate notebook and revised formula regularly. For each topic like design of beams or design of slab or column, pick out the standard question from previous year question which contains all the steps and assumptions. Try to accommodate all the variations in one single question that may be possible for that topic. For each topic take one or two questions to cover entire design portion for that topic. Revise this daily so that the design steps gets instilled in your brain. Must used scientific calculator when you solved numerical problems.

2. Accuracy :-

The main difference in pre and mains is accuracy, when you attempt SSC PRE exam then accuracy not matter in your exam in case of normalization, SSC JE mains always becomes in single shift no normalization will be applicable here then your RAW Score will be Final score its out of 300 marks. If you attempt 25 marks questions with complete accuracy or in good way then its possibility to achieved more then 80% marks. if you are not aware from all questions then i suggest go for accuracy.

3. Speed :-

Timing played main role incase of mains because mains exam consists 300 marks in 120min so speed is very important. Your Test series practice will be becoming helpful in exam. When you attempt first Full length test if you are unable to attempt complete test then don’t be panic, gave your best in next test and try to be improvement.

4. During Exam :-

• In Examination hall must check any suspicious activity or material not surrounding you.
• After getting paper sheet check properly copy is in good condition or not.
• First 5 minutes, it is very essential to analysis which 5 questions one is going to attempt out of the 6 questions.
• Start with questions you are very much comfortable with as aim is to grab as much marks as possible which you are confident more.

1.Try to attempt more & write something if know anything about the question you have attempted.

2. Select numerical questions more as compared to theory, one if get tougher numerical do theory questions (prefer numerical).

3. Attempt numericals except then theory because if time permits you can write more .

4. Don’t choose lengthy questions.

5. First 2 questions should be choosen in a manner to which you are confident .

6. Make urself faster in writing from beginning as I have seen most students do is’t 2 questions in more than 40 minutes & end up with less attempt.
